
Dr. Astorre Modena
Italian-Israeli Entrepreneur
Dr. Astorre Modena is the Founder and General Partner of Terra Venture Partners, leading early-stage Cleantech VC in Israel. Astorre has seeded and sits on the board of some of the most promising clean tech companies in Israel such as Phoebus, Wi-Charge, PVNanocell and others.
Before founding Terra, Astorre was a Principal at Israel Seed Partners, a leading seed-stage venture capital in Israel with more than $260 million under management. Prior to Israel Seed, Astorre was with McKinsey & Co., based in Paris, where he consulted to leading Italian, French and Israeli manufacturing and financial corporations. Prior to this Astorre was a Physics Researcher at Ecole Polytechnique in Paris.
Astorre holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from Imperial College in London.
Astorre is fluent in English, French, Italian and Hebrew.
Astorre is the chairman of Machshava Tova board of directors since 2003.

Ayelet Torem, Adv.
Adv. Torem has a LLB degree from Bar Ilan University. She is a Partner in the Amit, Pollak and Matalon Law Firm, and works in the Hi-Tech industry. Adv. Torem specializes in foundation and representation of funds, and consults venture funds, private equity funds, and others in strategic fundraising from institutions in Israel and in tracking down investment opportunities. Additionally, Adv. Torem accompanies business accelerators and technological hubs, startups and angel investors. Ayelet is a board member of Machshava Tova since 2013.
