Digital inequality affects many different sectors and is an important obstacle to educational and professional advancement. In Israel, there is a huge digital gap, which exacerbates social disparities and negatively affects equal opportunity.
These gaps and disparities are more prominent than ever, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in massive layoffs. Even people who had not experienced social disparity before, now found themselves incapable of advancing and lacked the proper tools needed to re-enter the workforce. To combat this issue, we have designed solutions for job seekers and those interested in updating their professional capabilities.
At Machshava Tova, our employment programs do not focus on job placement, but rather on professional empowerment. In addition to acquiring the necessary technological tools, we emphasize the need to gain confidence in a digital environment and in independent learning methods and processes. By doing so, we believe that our courses can open up a world of exciting opportunities for education, employment and social integration for our participants.

Employment in the Digital Age
In this digital course, participants learn the skills needed today in the job market, both when searching for a job and when integrating into various different positions. In addition to acquiring technological tools, the course also emphasizes confidence-building within a digital environment and independent learning methods. The program addresses the need for familiarity with computer and internet applications, and deepens participants’ digital knowledge.
Office Management Course
This technological training program is designed for both men and women interested in administrative positions. The program opens up a variety of options for office management positions, helping participants adapt to the quickly changing technological knowledge required for today's job market. During the course, students learn advanced computer and internet applications, delve into social networks, and touch upon the importance of the virtualization of the modern office. Additionally, participants learn employment-related skills, such as self-branding, job interview preparation, and more.
Our courses
Job Search Workshop
This workshop explores the modern job market and its state of employment. Participants acquire the tools needed for successful integration into the labor force, gaining various professional skills such as CV writing, job search tools, job application tracking, and more.
Microsoft Office Workshop
The workshop focuses on the basic Microsoft Office tools: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. These applications will be covered within the context of employment and the exercises and experiences will simulate a professional working environment.
Employment Benefits Workshop
This workshop focuses on relevant online employment benefits and services, so participants can effectively access these services. In this course, participants learn how to find information about their benefits, government offices that can help them, and how to fill out and submit online forms.
Preparatory Workshop for Employment
This workshop helps participants improve the skills relevant for job searching, such as a better understanding of possible employment sectors, research skills, and CV writing. Participants work on a personal introduction presentation and how to prepare for a job interview, to bolster their confidence and sense of competence.
