“Machshava Tova is really fun, and I love how much thought and effort they invest in us.”
Maayan Shalom, age 11, studying with Machshava Tova from the second grade
Machshava Tova’s children programs introduce the participants to new and fascinating technology in an open environment, encouraging curiosity and independent learning, combined with active study.
These programs provide equal opportunity for disadvantaged children from the Israeli geo-social periphery, who would otherwise not have access to basic education on computer skills and knowledge in advanced software programs.
Machshava Tova is the leading institute on the pedagogy of education in STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. We believe that this is the most suitable pedagogy for cultivating a culture of innovation while supporting the future generation and its integration into the globalization and technological revolution of the 21st century.
The children’s program courses use a project-based learning (PBL) format, which uses the instructor as a facilitator for the children’s thinking processes, focusing on their interests in- and natural curiosity for technology. The programs develop research and analytical skills, interpersonal communication and public speaking skills. Additionally, they spark the children’s curiosity and impart them with new knowledge. We believe that technological, and entrepreneurial education at an early age will enable our young students to better integrate these skills in their lives as adults.
Machshava Tova’s goal is to help advance vulnerable populations in Israeli society through the imparting of technological skills, strengthening their confidence in themselves and their abilities, and helping them become interested in school-based learning.
Our courses are tailored to various ages. Children are introduced to many different technological tools and new learning possibilities, developing their interests as they develop a successful future path for themselves.
